Introduction to Kingsley’s
catering
Some handy tips keep in mind
when you are organising a function are that:-
- A group of men tend to want,
on average, slightly more than the top end of our recommend
quantity range range.
- A group of women or Children
tend to require slightly less than and the bottom end or our
recommended quantity range may be sufficient.
- Our Recommendation as to your
requirements for your function are based on a balanced mix of men,
women and children.
- If you do not want to run the
risk of running out of food you may consider adding 10 percent to
our recommended quantities.
Grilled Breast Fillets -
$2.80 Each
A recent addition to our menu,
these come in 2 flavors - Tandoori or Moroccan. These fillets are
marinated overnight and then grilled to perfection, to order these
grilled fillets, please order at least a day ahead. When planning
your function keep in mind that these tastes are more acceptable
for people with more adventurous palates.
For planning purposes 2 Breast
fillets per person or 1 Breast fillet if served with other
meats.
Southern Fry Breast Fillets
- $2.80 Each
Tender breast fillets coated
with Kingsley’s Southern fry batter.
For planning purposes 2 Breast
fillets per person or 1 Breast fillet if serving with other
meats.
Awesome Family Chips* -
$4.60 Each
13mm Crinkle cut chips and
being thicker holds less oil than shoestring chips. Our chips are
claimed to be the best in Canberra - if not the world by our
customers.
For planning purposes a family
chips can be enough for 1 man, 1 women and 2 small
children.
Roast Chicken - $8.95
Each
Freshly Roasted Whole Chickens
cooked to perfection with a light seasoning to give the chickens a
delightful taste. Stuffed with Kingsley’s Special Recipe seasoning
and available in whole or cut up in ½ or ¼.
For planning purposes - 1/3
Chicken per person or 1/5 chicken per person if serving with other
meats.
Southern Fry - $1.29 a
Piece
Pieces of Chicken individually
battered in Kingsley’s Secret Seasoning & freshly cooked until
golden brown. A crowd favorite especially with the
young.
For planning purposes - 3
pieces per person or 1 ½ pieces per person if serving with other
meats.
Chicken Schnitzel - $4.15
Each
Schnitzels cooked till golden
brown, crisp on the outside but tender and moist on the inside. A
full sized meal or cut up, these would be used as finger
foods.
For planning purposes - 1
Schnitzel per person as a main meal or 1 Schnitzel per three people
as finger food.
Chicken Croquette - $1.45
Each
A traditional Dutch recipe, our
chicken croquettes are an ideal finger food.
For planning purposes - 2
Chicken Croquette per person.
Nuggets & Chicken
Chippies - Nuggets (20) - $8.60, Chicken Chippies (A Jumbo Catering
Pack) - $16
If you want to give your guests
chicken nuggets or chippies, keep in mind that these offerings are
what little children tend to take as they find it easy to handle
with their little hands and because they are boneless.
For planning purposes -
One Pack for 5 kids if to be served with other
foods.
Chicken Spring Rolls - $1.15
Each
These Chicken and vegetable
spring rolls are and easy to eat finger food.
For planning purpose, ½ rolls
per person, with other foods.
Gravy - Large Gravy
$2.65
Gravy is a hot tasty
accompaniment to our awesome chips. Some like it with our Roast
Chicken.
Salads - $ 6.70 per
Kg
We offer a selection of two
salads. Sweetslaw - Coleslaw with a slightly sweet and tangy
flavour and Pasta salad - elbow pasta folded into a creamy dressing
with carrot and onion.
For planning purpose 200gms of
Salad per person
Cold Salads are perfect
for a hot summer day and these are a great healthy accompaniment
for roast chicken and southern chicken dinners.
*Important
Notice - Our hot foods
are best consumed within 20 minutes after collection from our
store. The shorter the interval between time of purchase and time
of consumption, the better the quality of the food, if you do not
have the facility to keep the food hot, we recommend cold
chicken.
Please keep all cold foods
in the refrigerator and do not refrigerate if it has been stored in
ambient temperature.
